A sound mind exists in a sound body. A playground is a place specially designed to enable children to play there and make our kids physically, mentally and emotionally fit.

Study Tour and Field Trips

Field trip and study tour involves learning in a foreign environment and to visit a place away from their normal mode of study. The purpose of their trips is usually observation for education, non-experimental research or to provide students with experience their everyday activities, such as camping with teachers and their classmates. It helps to bring all the students to a common platform irrespective of their social, economic & cultural background.

Sports & Games

Sports can help an individual work in a team spirit and also develops a problem-solving attitude towards life. And it is essential for both physical and mental stability of students. Moreover, it increases the immunity of the students. We are providing all the sports activities such as football, volleyball, cricket etc. and indoor and outdoor games also.Children are also getting the chance to learn skating, karate, yoga in the school premises.

Swimming Pool

An indoor swimming pool at the school provides an alternative to students who may have health issues and can’t participate in running or other outdoor activities. While swimming a student can burn up almost 511 calories in1 hour. Swimming is conducted by trained teachers and supervised carefully for the safety of children.

Transport Facilities

The need for safe passage of each child to school and back home is of paramount importance to us. To ensure the safe travel, the school has its own fleet of school buses those are designed and maintained as per the CBSE norms and well equipped with first aid and emergency management.

Arts & Crafts

Arts & crafts are the real fun activities for kids. Be it colouring with crayons or making miniature status from clay, folding paper to create fine origami or designing a handmade birthday cards etc. which can enhance the interest of the children and exploit their artistic potential and can develop the fine motor skills. They will learn to appreciate the arts and cultures across the world.

Gems Turf Court

Gems Public School strongly believes that physical fitness as important as mental health. We have realized that NEP-2020 policy gives major importance for physical education ambience in our school premises. We are under the construction of football court and will be fulfilled within a year.

CLASS ROOM

Learning is a never ending process that can be effectively done in a perfect class room. The class room provides a space while learning can take place uninterrupted by outside distractions. Reading corner and language enhancing activities are also implemented inside each classroom.

COMPOSITE SCIENCE LAB

The school also provides a well-equipped composite science lab, which is a work place for the conduct of scientific research. It helps students to remember the concept better and transfer the experience to other learning situations.

LIBRARY

Learning is not limited in pen and paper. It is also the voyage of discovering knowledge through books. A school library plays a vital role in the learning process of child’s mental development. We have a very well set up school library, precisely arranged and has a wide range of books on diverse subjects, reference books and encyclopedias, story books, comic books, biographies, journals, magazines etc. and we furnished our library with vivid knowledge and comfort zones for better exposure of learning and relevant cultural activities related to the importance of those days and is all done by the students which helps them to enhance their leadership qualities.

COMPUTER LAB

Computer lab is an essential part of teaching and learning process and it serves as the center for exploring knowledge through computer. We train our pupils by specialized and expertise teachers. The lab is also utilized for technology-based research and creating projects.

MORNING ASSEMBLY

Morning assembly is a time of place and quiet, when everyone gathers at one place and joins hands to praise the God for providing us with a whole new day. Our morning assembly focuses an interesting time of the day, which consists of varieties of vibrant activities such as positive thoughts, morals, speech, short quiz Main motto of GEMS Public school is to make our pupils equally talented in curricular and extracurricular activities. To full fill the above mentioned dreams, we have different activities like chess, karate, skating, home science classes etc. Kung Fu and Horse riding classes are our fourth coming plans.

SMART THEATRE

Smart Theatre is a place where the students of all classes experience learning in an effective way. The audio-visual method appeals most to the senses. It leaves a deeper impact as it involves greater attention in the act of learning and helps the child to retain the concepts taught through these days. It simplifies learning through multi-media facilities by these aids. The teachers are able to disseminate knowledge via informative movies, documentaries, animated videos and talks by well-known personalities that provide an insight into our culture and heritage.
